Teacher appreciation week usually is the first full week in May. We love all of the teachers at the school our children attend. The care for, educate and nurture our children. They go above and beyond to communicate with us, pay special attention to the needs of each student and look for the most creative and inspirational ways to nourish their young minds.
It is hard to say THANK YOU enough for all they do. This year the parent ambassador team (see PTA) decided that each day the teachers (and staff!) was going to get a goodie each day of teacher appreciation week. I took on the ‘We hope it is a-Pear-ent you are appreciated!’ pears and thought you would like to have a free printable for YOUR teachers.
This could be used for teacher appreciation week, beginning of the the year or end of the year gifts.
This is going to be simplest DIY craft you will ever do.
- Pears (1 per teacher)
- Free Printable
- Hole punch
- String (or tape)
How to Assemble:
Print out the free printable, cut out the circles, punch a hole in the top and loop string through the hole and tie onto the stem of the pear. If your pear has lost its stem, just tape the string to the pear!
That is it!
Super simple, easy peasy.
Just be sure the pear is not over ripe. A pear with a bit of firmness will be a good option for this activity.
