24 Good Posts I Wrote In 2016
The new year gives us all a fresh perspective and a change to look back on the year that was. I wanted to share with you what was the most popular post here on Savoring The Good in each month, according to Google.
That post will be listed FIRST in the list below.
The second post will be the post that either I was most proud of, thought the internet would love or had hoped had done better.
I find these posts to be good, helpful or just fun. I hope you do too.
This is an ever green post (meaning it keeps being good for everyone no matter the year) from another year. Looks like even though Christmas was over you love a good crock pot recipe.
January I decided to rebrand from How I Pinch A Penny to Savoring The Good. You can read all about it in the links above. Just know that I felt like I gave birth and and I did ask for an epidural during the transition. My husband told me to get a grip and sit down.
This is another evergreen post that was super popular in February. This treat was created for my son’s birthday party. I even made a little video to show you how easy they are to make:
I was so excited to post this recipe! I did really well on Facebook. The video now has over 5.6 million views! That is GOOD!
Turns out the rest of the internet caught up with what Facebook already knew. Bang Bang shrimp is awesome!
I was so excited to share this post about Easter Paska. This is from my Ukrainian heritage and I was able to update some photos on the post. Only eat this bread if you love rich, buttery bread.
YES. It happened again. The most popular post in April was the Bang Bang Shrimp copycat recipe. You all love your shrimp!
I had the joy and honor to travel to LA to be part of The Jungle Book press event. Blogging has opened so many doors for me. I never thought it would put me on the red carpet. This was VERY GOOD.
More shrimp. Why hadn’t I created this post earlier?
In 2016 I had the joy to be chosen as one of Hershey Entertainment’s Sweetest Moms. I LOVED this post because the Hersheypark season pass is the BEST value!
I loved this post because my kids eat them. EVERY TIME.
I am so glad everyone viewed this post the most in June. It was a post that I had been meaning to write, kept putting off, but made for my family a lot. It is super easy to make. I hope you continue to enjoy it.
This post was so good to be because it was something I wrote with the help of my 5 year old. He was instrumental in creating the list and had a lot of fun helping me make it. Any time I spend time with my kids doing my job is GOOD.
I knew that you love crock pot recipes so I put together some suggestions to make your football game a bit more fun, if not delicious.
This post is one of my favorites in July because I LOVE these breakfast cups. So Much! They come together so easily and are so delicious!
I love disney and I love to repurpose items. This lampshade is now in the kids bedroom and a wonderful reminder of our fun at Disney Parks.
I love this recipe because I found another use for the rhubarb we grow in the garden!
So good! Who can so no to cheese and bread?
Football was back on your brain! And who could blame you? It was football season!
I loved putting together this post because I am OBSESSED with my blanket scarves. Be sure to watch the included instructional video.
This post was part of a trip that my son and I took to Rockefeller Plaza in NYC. It was the first time he rode on a train, the subway and the first trip we took JUST him and me. What were we doing in NYC? visiting the Oceanspray Cranberry bog. Something I have seen on TV for YEARS and always wanted to visit. I had no idea we would be able to get IN the bog. What a fabulous memory.
Christmas came in October. Or according to what you were searching for! You visited this post 50 THOUSAND times. That is a LOT.
In October I took another trip to LA for another movie press trip. This time it was a Marvel press trip for Doctor Strange. My mind was once again blown away at the opportunities my job has afforded me.
It is not November but Christmas is on your mind. LOTS of you were viewing this post.
BUT almost as many of you were viewing this post to make your Thanksgiving meal more enjoyable.
I was also so super proud of this post I wrote for Shady Brook Farms. This was the first in a series of 4 posts I am writing for them as one of their ambassadors. I was thrilled that they asked me to be part of their team.
Christmas Crock Pot recipe posts in December? Makes sense.
This recipe is so delicious and comes together so easily! PLUS there is a video. Video is always good!
