Gluten Free Savory Pull Apart Cheesy Three Ingredient Monkey Bread
Seriously. Three ingredients and you have cheesy, savory, pull apart savory monkey bread that is gluten free and delicious! I do not lead a gluten free lifestyle but I will be making this recipe over and over again. I am a sucker for cheese bread and the crunchy outside with the warm pillowy inside of these Brazi Bites will bring joy to your mouth.
Braizi Bites are the Brazilian cheese bread that you may have seen featured on Shark Tank. But 6 years before Shark Tank founder Junea Rocha called her mom in her home town in Brazil asking for the family recipe to satisfy her snack craving. She was not able to find “Minas” cheese in the US so it took some creative blending but she was able to create a delicious blend of cheeses to incorporate into her Brazi Bites.
She quickly discovered that she had a hit on her hands and she wanted to get Brazi Bites into the hands of everyone!
Naturally gluten free
Brazi Bites are naturally gluten free due to the use of tapioca flour instead of a wheat flour. Trust me when I say you will NOT miss the gluten in these cheesy bites!
I am using the Zesty Pepper Jack variety but Brazi Bites are also available in Cheddar and Parmesan, Garlic and Asiago as well as 3 Cheese Pizza varieties. Feel free to switch up your cheese ingredient as you see fit!
- 2 Packages of Brazi Bites, Zesty Pepper Jack featured
- 1 stick of butter, melted
- 2 cups of shredded cheese, Cheddar Jack featured
I recommend using a non-stick fluted bunt pan.
Melt the butter and roll the frozen Brazi Bites in the melted butter.
QUICKLY roll the bite in the shredded cheese. I say quickly, because the cold of the frozen bread bit will quickly reset the butter to solid and it will be hard to have the cheese adhere once it is solid again.
Arrange them in the bunt pan in layers. Just place them loosely in the pan. No need to pack them in.
Bake at 400 F. for 45-50 minutes or until the top is crunchy, golden brown.
Loosen the gluten free, savory, cheesy monkey bread from the pan and flip over onto a cooling rack or a clean plate.
Pull each Brazi Bite out of the monkey bread ring and enjoy!
