10 DIY Uses For Essential Oils
I have been investigating and learning about the benefits and uses for essential oils in the past few months. I think my first experience with essential oils was on the day of my youngest daughters’ field trip. I had been fighting a cough that just would NOT go away. I had posted the day before on Facebook that I had a cough, it was bothering me and I was looking for any home remedies to get me through the day. My friend Sarah, was the other parent chaperone for the class and brought me a sample of lavender oil to rub on my chest. I gave her a raised eye brow, thinking ‘will this work?’ but it I was willing to give it a try.
I would not be exaggerating to say that as SOON as I rubbed in on my upper chest and breathed in I could feel my cough subside. The deeper I breathed in the more relief I was feeling. This oil was awesome!! I was breathing easy and happy that I was not the parent who was coughing on the bus full of kids.
I asked several of my blogging friends if they had any DIY posts for essential oils and I was flooded with responses!
Here are 10 of my favorites that I think you would love to try.
