It looks like not only did I spruce up this blog with a new logo and a new name but it looks like GIANT Food Stores has been doing a make over and an addition to the Nature’s Promise line of products.
I have long been a fan of organic products for my family and Giant Food Nature’s Promise line of organic products is a wonderful way to save money and still have the organic benefits. All Nature’s Promise organic products meet the standards of the USDA National Organic Program and feature the USDA organic Seal. The USDA authorizes independent agencies to inspect and certify farms and facilities that, upon passing inspection, may display the seal on their products.
I know that I look for the USDA Organic seal when I shop for organic products and the Nature’s Promise products have them!
So Many Products!
There are over 800 (and counting!) different Nature’s Promise products across the store from perishable to non-perishable and health and beauty care to household items.
They also have delicious ready to serve items such as Tomato Basil Bisque. A great option for those last minute meals before taking the kids to play practice or a late night snack for when the sandman won’t visit you.
Do you see the volume the Blue Agave Nectar comes in? Isn’t that awesome! I go through a lot of Blue Agave in the summer when I am making my Iced coffee. It dissolves nicely and doesn’t have the calories that granular sugar has. Here is a link to my recipe for Iced Coffee.
Check out the beautiful new branding of the label on the Nature’s Promise Organic. It has the USDA Organic label, the Gluten Free label, and the NON GMO verified label. It is just good, quality products full of delicious flavor and nothing else.
In 2015 Giant made improvements to its Nature’s Promise products to provide customer more transparency (Thank YOU!) and migrated from ‘natural’ to ‘free-from’. This means customers can clearly see what is NOT found in the products. Ingredients are clearly indicated on the product packaging and are free from unnecessary artificial ingredients.
I wish more companies were this transparent about what is included and not included in the products that we purchase.
I know I like to be an informed consumer when I am making purchases for my family.
New products continue to be introduced and most recently include all-purpose household cleansers, laundry detergent, hand soaps, vitamins, baby good, spices, artisan breads, marinates and turkey bacon. (Mmmmmm bacon!)
I know they list is going to grow so keep you eyes open to new products.
Not sure what to make for dinner tonight? The Savory recipe center will have something for you and your family.
Or you can check out these recipes I created for back to school….but you can still make them today!
