New in your grocers meat case is Shady Brook Farms Turkey meatloaf. This turkey meatloaf is fully seasoned, ready to cook and comes in an oven-ready pan. I love that there are no added hormones or steroids and no growth-promoting antibiotics. This is a gluten free turkey meatloaf. We are not gluten free in our household but I know being gluten free is necessary for so many families.
For me, one of the most important labels on the packaging is the fact that the turkeys are raised on independent family farms. In fact, there are over 700 independent family farms that partner with with Shady Brook farms to raise turkeys. I have been on one of the family farms that partners with Shady Brook Farms and you can feel the love, care and attention that goes into raising these turkeys. From using the latest technologies to ensure the waste of the farm is converted into electricity to developing techniques and creature comforts to ensure the turkeys live the most comfortable life they can these family farmers have taken all the steps to produce the best turkey possible.
These are tricolor baby potatoes. I love the different colors when I serve them on the plate. If you can only find single color baby potatoes, that is fine. You meal will be just as delicious.
If you can’t find baby potatoes at all, just cut up 2 large potatoes into 2 inch pieces.
I have learned to LOVE Brussels sprouts over the past few years. Turns out, they just need to be roasted for all the wonderful flavors to come out. Roasting makes every vegetable better, in my opinion.
In a zip top bag combine the Brussels sprouts, baby potatoes, olive oil, rosemary, salt and pepper.
Close the bag and shake to coat.
If you don’t have a zip top bag, a bowl and spoon will work but it is not as much fun to shake.

This turkey meatloaf sheet pan supper is a great way to help kick off a healthier new year. In the new year most of us are looking for lean, healthy proteins and to increase our vegetable intake. This recipe accomplishes both those goals. IF there are any leftovers a turkey meatloaf sandwich makes for a delicious, healthy lunch the next day. Use lettuce cups instead of bread for a truly gluten free sandwich option.
Make sure a thermometer reads 165 degrees. You never want poultry to be ‘rare’.
The turkey meatloaf is juicy and flavorful, the Brussels sprouts are caramelized and the potatoes are tender.
In addition to a healthy, flavorful meal there is minimal clean up with this recipe! Yet another reason I love sheet pan suppers.
