If you are looking for a simple, fun, inexpensive yard decoration you are going to want to check out these 4th of July lawn stars. Just a simple free hand stencil of a star cut from cardboard, a spritz of water, a little sprinkle of flour and you are set to go!
Group them together, line the driveway or scatter them all over your yard! This biodegradable lawn art will be sure to be the talk of your next 4th of July party!
Check out this quick video tutorial I put together for you. So easy!!
- Sifter or in my case, a mesh strainer
- Cardboard cutout in a star shape
- Water (from the hose or a spray bottle)
Spray paint can be used in lieu of flour. It is semi permanent (until you mow the grass a few times!) but costs a bit more. PLUS if you miss or mess up, flour can easily be sprayed away with the garden hose.
Also this craft was featured in my #ThirftyThursday segment on Good Day Pa!
