If you have kids, you are sure to be spending hours upon hours in the car with them over the years. Keeping kids occupied in the car, especially on long road trips can be a challenge. We have a DVD player in the van but we only use it if we are going to be on a road trip over an hour. It is not used when we are running errands around town. It is just one of my quirky rules. There is just not a reason for the kids to be plugged in while we are going to the grocery store, Lowes and the feed store.
So we play games in the van.

Count them fast because you are on the move! Are the cows on the other side of the street? They don’t count for you! When you pass a cemetery on your side of the street, your have to bury your cows and your number is back to zero. The person with the most cows in their count at the end of the trip wins!

Looking to switch up the game? Look for the items IN the car or for a fast moving game look for items OUTSIDE the car.
