If you love the flavors of buffalo chicken you will want to make my Buffalo Chicken Dip Egg Rolls, and if you like non traditional egg rolls you MUST make my croque-monsieur egg rolls and my Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. You can also drizzle some hot honey over the pizza. It is AH-mazing!

    Chicken Buffalo Pizza Ingredients:

    📝 Notes on the ingredients

    • Cooked chicken - I will use sous vide chicken breast but I know my sister will use a rotisserie chicken when she makes her chicken pizza recipe
    • Ranch Dressing - I love Hidden Valley Ranch dressing but you are welcome to use any brand you like. Even switch out the ranch for a blue cheese dressing.
    • Pizza Cheese - I love a shredded mozzerella.
    • Pizza Dough Ball - I take help from my deli and use a store-bought ball of pizza dough but feel free to use your own homemade pizza dough.
    • Hot Sauce (Franks) - use your favorite buffalo wing sauce but my family loves Franks Hot sauce
    • Blue Cheese Crumbles - These are optional but I think it really helps balance out the heat of the buffalo sauce.

📝 Frequently asked questions, answers and tips:

    Is grilling pizza hard?

I find grilling pizza to be easy once you have the technique. I will show you step by step how easy it is to create buffalo chicken ranch pizza on your grill.

Can you cook a frozen pizza on the grill?

I always say fresh is best but yes! You can cook a frozen pizza on the grill. Heat the grill, setting the grill temperature to low to medium-low (about 400°F). Remove wrapper and cardboard from frozen pizza. Place pizza directly on center of grill rack; close lid. Grill 13 min., rotating pizza ½ turn with spatula after 8 min. Check back often to ensure the pizza is not getting burned on the underside.

How long do you grill buffalo chicken pizza?

The length of time it takes to grill a pizza depends a lot on the temperature of the grill. The hotter the grill the shorter the time it will take to grill a pizza on the grill. With a hot grill, 500 and above, it will take under 5 minutes.

    👩‍🍳 Chef Tip

    • Make sure the grill is preheated on high. A minimum of 400 degree is optimal.
    • Clean the grill grates so they are free from other grilling experiences.
    • Stay close to the grill as the grilling process takes about 5 minutes from start to finish.
    • Have a cutting board or serving platter nearby.
    • Turn off the gas when finished. Safety First!
