Did you catch my guest post over at Type-A parent? I was super excited to share with the Type-A community my favorite recipe for grilling carne asada. This has been a staple of our grilling repitiour this summer. We even took it to the beach when we vacationed this summer. Did you hear about the pins from Pinterest I used while on vacation? If not se sure to check out the post.
Here is a preview of the post:
We love to grill all summer.
This summer we will be making this recipe…A LOT.
Carne asada is a wonderfully marinated flank steak that is grilled. Slice it on the bias and serve in warm flour tortillas with just sour cream, diced raw onions and cilantro. This is a meal that everyone in my family will eat. I have a bunch of picky eaters in my family too! The meat is marinated over 8 hours and so full of flavor. Show up to a picnic with this in your arsenal and you will be the talk of the party!
Here is your Ingredient List:
- 2 Pound Flank Steak
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/3 c. Vinegar
- 1/2 c. Soy Sauce
- 1/2 c. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
For the rest of the ingredient list, the instructions and a video be sure to stop over at the guest post at Type-A Parent.
Here is the slicing video that you find over on the post.
The grilling video is over on the other post so be sure to check it out.
