How To Style Your Hair With The
Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret®
If you have seen me on Youtube channel, Instagram or even on my Thrifty Thursday with Sarah Mock appearances on Good Day Pa! you probably have not missed that I have a TON of hair. I have been told by various cosmetologists that I have enough hair for 3 people. So drying, curling and styling this head of hair can be quite a job! The less time I can spend with my arms over my head with hot tools in my hands, the happier I will be!
Here is how I get 3 looks out of one curling session with my Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret®. I can’t tell you what the secret of the Curl Secret is but I can tell you that it is a great styling tool that leaves my hair curled, shiny and looking fabulous!
Here is how I start all my hair styles:
I start by blowing out my hair.
I use the Conair Professional Round Brush to help keep tangles away and put a slight curl to my hair as it is blown out. Did you know that hair has a memory and if you start it with curl it will hold curl longer? Conversely if you blow your hair with out curl and are looking to straighten the hair your hair will stay straighter, longer.
But today I am going for curls so I am starting with a round brush. This particular brush has a metal barrel so it holds heat as you dry your hair thus, speeding drying time. Looking for a hair dryer that reduces drying time by up to 70% with lower temperature and faster airflow to minimize heat damage?
I also use the concentrator attachment to focus the heat on my hair. Do you see how I have the hair curling AWAY from my face? This will encourage the hair to curl away from my face and keep out of my eyes when I am done with the style.
Now we are ready to use the Curl Secret®.
I section my hair into thirds, piling two thirds of it on top of my head while I work on the underside.
I comb out a small section of hair, 1-2 inches in width, and position in in the Curl Secret® with the correct side of the tool toward my head. The is a correct and incorrect way to hold the tool in relation to your head. It is clearly marked on the tool so you won’t forget.
Simply close the Curl Secret and it automatically draws the hair into the curling chamber. A few seconds later it beeps to let you know that your curl is ready! Open and release your beautiful, shiny curl!
The Curl Secret has two heat setting and three timer options so you can create a variety of curls with different combinations of heat and time. Looking for a tighter curl? Use the high temperature and the 10 or 12 time setting. For those of us with thick, wavy and hard to curl hair we are going to be wanting to keep it on the high setting. You ladies with fine hair, I would use a lower temperature.
As I work around my head and as I continue to curl my hair, I release the upper thirds of hair and get them curled.
I love the Curl Secret for when I am doing a full head of curls as well as when I am looking to add a few accent curls to my every day look.
You see that!? This is my hair in the chamber getting curled! I am not burning my fingers on a curling iron and the curls are coming out beautifully!
Conair Curl Secret Look #1
Straight our of the Curl Secret. This is a look I would rock for every day. I might put a little bit of finishing spray in this to keep the curls locked in but more than likely I would just go natural and let the curls fall naturally.
Pretty cute? Right?
Conair Curl Secret Look #2
I finger separate the curls just a bit to give it a slightly mussed look. I also used Conair bobby pins to pull back the crown section of my hair. This keeps it out of my face while giving me added volume to the crown of my head. We like volume, don’t we?
For look #3
I like to do a cascading high pony tail.
This look is great for the second day after you use your Curl Secret. My hair type hold curls fairly well and they hold very well when I use the Curl Secret. The curls are looser on the second day and make a nice fully pony tail. If you make a pony tail on the first day your curls will be tighter, unless you finger comb them out first.
Don’t forget to use a section of hair and your bobby pins to covert hair elastic. I think it gives a very finished look.
Special thanks to my daughter, 6Penceme for taking my photos. I couldn’t have taken these pictures by myself!
