One of my favorite features of an all inclusive resort is the amazing restaurants available for all the guests. Haven Resort will satisfy your culinary palate and inspire you to try flavor combinations you may not have considered. Eat and drink your way around Haven Riviera Cancun as you enjoy this luxury resort in Mexico.
Where can you eat breakfast at Haven Resort?
Flavours - A casual Marketplace atmosphere.
Forget everything you have ever known about a resort breakfast buffet. Flavours at Haven Resort is a gastronomic wonderland of breakfast favorites, local cuisine, artisan culinary creations all at your fingertips. Multiple chef stations to help you get your day started on a delicious note.
Choose from an omelet station, juice bar, smoothie station, pancakes, crepes and even ice cream. There is no judgement eating ice cream for breakfast! Be sure to check out the local, seasonal fruit, cheese and charcuterie. I was also crushing on the breads and pastries. Also no judgement if you go back for multiple plates. I did.
Vistas - Serenity Club guests can also enjoy à la carte breakfast in a prefect open-air ambience.
If you are a Serenity Club member, you can enjoy breakfast overlooking the pool and the ocean. Order a la carte and don't forget to have your favorite mimosa or breakfast cocktail.
Where can you get a snack at Haven Resort?
Relaxing, rejuvenating and soaking in the sun can be exhausting! Sometimes you just need a snack to get you to your next meal. Haven Resort Cancun has you covered and a delicious snack is just within reach.
Mistral - Casual outdoor bistro with amazing views of the Mexican Caribbean
Anytime between 11:00am – 5:00pm and you are in need of a snack the cook at Mistral has you covered. My favorite was the fresh pico and guac but the grilled chicken breast and the freshly grilled hamburger were also popular favorites. If you get the french fries, be careful because the birds love to steel them! Ask me how I know.
Pool Side - servers check on guests to make sure they have drinks and snacks.
Order food and drinks from your Bali bed around the pool or from your lounge chair. Read all about the Bali beds and ordering food from them when I talk about all the things I love about Haven Riviera Cancun.
What restaurants serve lunch at Haven Resort?
When you are ready for lunch Haven Resort has delicious options for you! They always check to see if you have allergies and make accommodations accordingly.
Vora Mar - Basque charcoal grill — where the fish of the day and other delicacies are cooked to perfection.
Lunch is from 1:00pm – 5:30pm at Vora Mar the Baja Med Kitchen offers up a unique fusion of Mediterranean and Baja California dishes. If you’re craving something that isn’t from the grill, the cold kitchen is your choice. Fresh fish and seafood is on display with clams, oysters, scallops and mussels - all prepared to order. Lunch is a self serve pick up as you go buffet style.
Mistral - a casual, fun place to eat & drink
Not only can you get snack at Mistral, you can get a quick and light lunch if you like. Keep it super casual and eat at the bistro tables or take your lunch down to the Bali beds on the beach.
What restaurants serve dinner at Haven Resort Cancun?
Dinner was the highlight of my day while at Haven. The culinary creations are creative, innovative, well paired and an event unto themselves. You will not be disappointed in any of the restaurants or menu items.
Flavours - Your marketplace breakfast location also serves dinner
A gastronomic wonderland Flavours is also open for dinner and you’ll be enticed by an amazing display of warm and cold seafood, meats and poultry, vegetables, baked goods, fruits, cheeses, an authentic Tortillery, and a wide selection of wines and decadent desserts.
Agua Bendita - contemporary blend of traditional Mexican cuisine and hospitality with a classic steak house.
Agua Bendita is a steak house that rivals the food and service of some of the most well known steak houses from around the world. From USDA and Canada Beef prime selections of steaks, chops and specialty cuts to the bold flavors of fine Mexican cuisine including handmade tortillas that are prepared to order. THIS restaurant was the highlight of our dining experiences at Haven.
We had the Cowboy cut steak and shrimp and it was but and served table side by the restaurant manager. An experience we will not soon forget and one I encourage everyone to indulge in. It was probably the best steak and shrimp we have had in recent memory and well worth the up-charge.
Olios - Mediterranean fine dining at its best
The restaurant features an exciting à la carte menu with each incredible meal complimented by an exceptional selection of wines, liqueurs, coffees and infusions. Nothing is overlooked. To enhance your dining experience even further, Olios offers special Chef’s Tables featuring a savory gourmet tasting menu. Impeccable service, exquisite food and an ambiance found in only the finest dining establishments
Satsu - Asian Fusion multi-sensory culinary experience
Traditional Teppanyaki stations highlight the art and show of Japanese food. But my favorite was the Robata Grill where the chef would prepare charcoal-grilled small plates full of flavors. Be sure to ask the chef to make your favorite sushi and sashimi using the freshest of ingredients or choose from a range of individually prepared meals using classic cooking techniques from various gastronomic regions of Asia.
How many bars does Haven Cancun Resort have?
In addition to the 2 swim up pool side bars Haven has 4 other bars to meet your Mixology needs.
Limes - a place for everyone
Located next to the Agua Bendita Restaurant, Limes is an American style bar with a variety of international and local beers, wines and spirits and you can watch your favorite team on centrally located televisions. The cocktails are innovative and creative! Snack on contemporary finger food and choose from indoor or outdoor seating.
Is there a dress code for the bars and restaurants at Haven Resort?
I use the words 'dress code' loosely because in my opinion, the dress code for bars and restaurants at haven Resort and Spa is more of common sense and less of a code. For breakfast and lunch guests should wear dry clothes for the meal. For men they recommend: T-shirt or tank, short pants and sandals. For the ladies they suggest: Shirt over a swim suit, shorts and sandals.
For dinner the resorts calls for 'formal casual'. I translated this to resort wear or business casual. For guests this means, collared or Polo shirt, blouse or dress, long pants or dress shorts, skirt, long pants or dressy shorts. Casual shoes such as sandals for women and closed toe casual shoes for men. The exception to this 'rule' is when you dine at Olios. Men are asked to wear a collared shirt, long pants and closed toe shoes. No jacket is required. Ladies, just look like your fabulous self!
