What is in Shrimp and Tortellini Bake?
- shrimp, peeled and deveined
- cheese tortellini
- pasta sauce
- mozzarella cheese, shredded
- parmesan cheese
How to Make Shrimp and Tortellini Bake
- Start with 1 pound of shrimp. Spend the extra few cents and have the seafood counter devein and even peel them, if that is an option.
- Cook the shrimp on both side for 3-4 minutes pre side. You will know the shrimp are done with they turn pink, opaque and have the same shape as a ‘C’.
- Cook a 20 oz. package of cheese tortellini according to the package directions .
- Add a 24 oz. jar of your favorite tomato sauce.
- Stir to coat.
- Add the cooked shrimp on top of the sauce coated pasta.
- Add 1 cup of shredded mozzarella.
- Add 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese.
- Broil until brown and bubbly.
