On Set with The Cast of Walk The Prank
I was delighted to visit Paramount Studios and the set of DisneyXD’s new scripted comedy with real hidden-camera prank show Walk The Prank!
What ages are appropriate to watch Walk The Prank?
This is a show that my kids ages 5-12 will love! The scripted storylines center on the four kids’ antics in school and at home, which provide a source of inspiration for their pranks. The real and outlandish hidden-camera pranks, seen throughout each episode, capture genuine reactions from unsuspecting strangers.
What Is Walk The Prank on Disney?
We have watched the first episode (several times!) and they have loved it. I love it because it is a show we can watch as a family and the kids are engaged and the adults are able to engage with them while watching. There are giggles all around and there is discussion on what they think would make for a fun prank. It has also sparked the conversation on what makes a good prank and what is a not good prank.
Are all the pranks appropriate?
We have talked about how pranks need to be funny for everyone, safe for everyone and how if you were to prank someone it should be to build a friendship and create a funny memory. Walk The Prank keeps all these things in mind when they are creating their hidden camera pranks.

Walk The Prank Moms
There were 4 ladies seated in front of us while we were watching rehearsals on the monitors. I will talk to anyone and I knew they were not with our group. I had a feeling they were the moms of the actors. Well, not Tobie’s mom….
Turns out they were the moms! (and a grandma!)
I was able to chat with them for a few minutes and learned a bit about they dynamics of their kids. This group of actors have become fast friends and are very supportive of each other. One of them is an only child while others have siblings. The acting life has always been fascinating to me. It takes a wonderful support system for the child actor. In the few minutes I spent with these ladies, these kids are in good hands. So what does a mom do when she talks with other moms? Take a selfie!
