What to pack when staying at the deluxe cabins at Hersheypark Camping Resort

What to pack when staying at the Deluxe Cabins at Hersheypark Camping Resort

When you want be IN the outdoors but don’t want don’t want to be THAT much in touch with nature the Hersheypark Camping Resort was made for YOU. One and two bedroom deluxe cabins are available to rent for when you want to connect with the outdoorsman in your with out letting go of any of the comforts you need every day.

The deluxe cabins have indoor plumbing, bathroom/shower, electricity, heat and air conditioning, TV with cable and DVD unit as well as a ceiling fan or wall fan. There is also an equipped kitchen if you would like to make meals for yourself and your family.

But not everything is included in the deluxe cabins. You WILL need to bring some things. I want you to be the prepared Boy Scout and pack some necessities before you arrive at the Hersheypark Camping Resort.

Here are my suggestions:

Bedrooms:

  • Pillows
  • Blankets/sheets/sleeping bags
  • Nightlight (if needed)
  • Stuffies
  • All mattresses have plastic protectors on them.
  • 2 Bedroom Deluxe Cabins sleep 7 – 1 double/single bed bunk, 1 single/single bed bunk, 1 queen size bed.
  • 1 Bedroom Deluxe Cabins sleep 7 – 1 double/single bed bunk, 1 single/single bed bunk, and 1 sofa bed.
  • ADA Accessible – Cabins 25 and 30 are 1 Bedroom Deluxe Cabins with ADA Access. Cabin 30 has year-round plumbing.

This list is just a suggestion list and items I found helpful to have for our stay at the Hersheypark Camping Resort. You may find you need more items than what I have suggested.

Food

You will also need to bring any food or ingredients that you might want to prepare. The kitchens are NOT stocked and there is NOT room service. This is CAMPING. You might want to check out my post on easy foil packet meals for camping. They can be baked in the oven in the cabin or you can cook them in the fire ring outside the cabin.

    I love your website and can’t wait to try so many recipes you’ve listed! Hershey PA is a delightful place-First time going there this year and highly recommend Mr. Hershey’s garden. ❤️
    Another great place to check out is Homosassa Riverside Resort in Florida where you can swim with the manatees! The wildlife park is around the corner, former winter home to TV animal stars.
