Yogurt breakfast bowls are a delicious way to get a protein-rich, rich, creamy and delicious start to your day or even an after school snack. Try 5 of my favorite yogurt breakfast bowls that are out of the ordinary.
The yogurt I am using in these yogurt breakfast bowls is a Greek yogurt from FAGE and is a Plain yogurt. I love that there are no added sugars and FAGE is Non-GMO Project Verified.
How far in advance can you make a yogurt breakfast bowl?
I make my breakfast bowls either the night before or first thing in the morning. But I know that breakfast bowls can be made up to 5 days ahead. Just be sure to keep the crunchy items in a cool dry place. Keep ingredients that would oxidize, or turn brown, separate and uncut until you are ready to eat your breakfast bowl.
How to take a yogurt breakfast bowl on the go.
We all aren’t able to sit at home, at the breakfast table to enjoy breakfast. So taking a yogurt breakfast bowl on the go is necessary. Find a closed container that will hold the yogurt plus extra space for toppings and stirring. Put the yogurt in the container and top with toppings that are soft or fresh. Close the container and bring the crunchy ingredients in a zip top bag. Add the crunchy ingredients when you eat your yogurt bowl.
