Baileys Coffee

Baileys coffee is the Irish latte recipe that is perfect any time of day but I love to sip it on chilly evenings in front of the fire. Serve this Bailey's Irish coffee recipe as a hot coffee cocktail alongside your other favorite St. Patrick's day recipes.

Notes

Variations:
Jameson whiskey - switch out bailey's Irish cream for Jameson for a twist on the Irish coffee cocktail.
Brown Sugar syrup. - Combine equal parts brown sugar and water. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved. Use brown sugar syrup in place of sugar.
Fresh whipped cream - Using an electric mixer with the whisk attachment, whip heavy cream until bubbles form. Add sugar to sweeten. Continue to whip until soft peaks form. Do not go beyond stiff peaks or the heavy cream can turn to butter. Also check out Keto whipped cream.
Strong Coffee - while espresso is called for in this classic Irish coffee recipe, double strength regular coffee would be a delicious substitute. Instant coffee can also be used in a pinch.
Decaf coffee - switch out the espresso for decaf coffee.
