Blueberry Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups blueberries
  • 5-7 Strawberries
  • ¼ Cup Cilantro
  • 1 Jalapeno Pepper
  • lime juice and zest
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Remove the seeds, stem and membrane of the jalapeno pepper and roughly chop the pepper.

  2. Zest and juice the lime into the bottom of the food processor or blender.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients on top of the lime juice and zest.

  4. Close the lid and pulse until the desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Taste for seasoning and add more salt, if needed.

  6. Chill for 1 hour for best flavor results.

Notes

I like to make this salsa about an hour before I serve it. I would not advise making it more than 8 hours ahead as the salt will start to break down the berries and make them liquid.
