Chocolate Chip Cake Mix Cookies
Makes 12 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 Box (1 Box) yellow cake mix
- 2 (2) Egg
- ½ Cup (109 Gram) Vegetable Oil
- 1 Cup (236 ⅗ Gram) milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 °F (177 °C) degrees fahrenheit, and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil, until well combined and cookie dough has formed.1 Box yellow cake mix, 2 Egg, ½ Cup Vegetable Oil
- Fold in milk chocolate chips.1 Cup milk chocolate chips
- Use a 1 inch cookie scoop to scoop the dough onto the parchment paper, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-10 minutes, until the bottoms of the cookies are golden brown.
Notes
Switch out the chocolate chips for peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips or white chocolate chips. To make these a cake mix chocolate chip cookie with nuts, swap out ½ of the chocolate chips for your favorite nut. I love walnuts but pecans would also be a delicious option. Just be sure to toast the pecans first to bring out the full flavor.
Use a chocolate cake mix in place of the yellow cake mix and switch out the milk chocolate chips for white chocolate chips to make a chocolate/chocolate chip cake mix cookie.
