Cornflake Candy Recipe
No-bake cornflake candy recipe combining crunchy cornflakes, rich chocolate, and a touch of peppermint for a festive, sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups corn flakes cereal
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • ½ Cup light corn syrup
  • ½ Cup Peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and set aside.
  2. Add the cornflakes to a large mixing bowl.

  3. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, peanut butter, and vanilla.
    ½ Cup light corn syrup, ½ Cup Sugar, ½ Cup Peanut butter, 1 tsp. Vanilla
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is bubbling.
  5. Cook a few minutes more, until sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  6. Remove from the heat, and pour the peanut butter mixture over the cornflakes.
  7. Fold the mixture together gently, until all of the cornflakes are coated with the peanut butter mixture.
  8. Drop by spoonfuls onto your parchment lined sheet, and sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles.

  9. Allow the candies to chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour, or until set.
