Cornflake Candy Recipe

Six delightful cornflake candy clusters with sprinkles rest on a pristine white plate.

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups corn flakes cereal
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • ½ Cup light corn syrup
  • ½ Cup Peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • Christmas sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and set aside.
  • Add the cornflakes to a large mixing bowl.
    3 Cups corn flakes cereal
  • In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, peanut butter, and vanilla.
    ½ Cup light corn syrup, ½ Cup Sugar, ½ Cup Peanut butter, 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is bubbling.
  • Cook a few minutes more, until sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  • Remove from the heat, and pour the peanut butter mixture over the cornflakes.
  • Fold the mixture together gently, until all of the cornflakes are coated with the peanut butter mixture.
  • Drop by spoonfuls onto your parchment lined sheet, and sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles.

  • Allow the candies to chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour, or until set.
