Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef browned and drained
  • 2 Cups beef broth
  • 1 large Onion yellow, diced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper diced
  • 1 15 ounce can kidney beans drained
  • 1 15 oz can black beans drained
  • 1 14.5 ounce can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 15 ounce can corn Drained
  • 6 oz Tomato Paste
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke optional
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.

  2. Add beef, broth, onion, bell pepper, beans, tomatoes, corn, tomato paste, and seasonings into the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
    2 Cups beef broth, 1 large Onion, 1 Green Bell Pepper, 1 15 ounce can kidney beans, 1 15 oz can black beans, 1 14.5 ounce can Diced Tomatoes, 1 15 ounce can corn, 6 oz Tomato Paste, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp liquid smoke, 1 tsp Paprika, 1 tsp Garlic, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Black Pepper
  3. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
  4. Stir, taste, adjust seasonings if needed, and serve hot with cornbread, rolls, or tortilla chips.
