Easy Fried Pickle Dip with Crispy Panko Topping

A bowl of cream cheese and fried dill pickle dip topped with crispy breadcrumbs, accompanied by pretzel chips on the side.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. Butter
  • ½ Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 8 Ounces Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • ½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ Teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp. dill pickle juice
  • 1 Cup kosher dill pickles (chopped fine)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions
 

  • Add the butter to a skillet, and melt over medium heat.
    1 tbsp. Butter, ½ Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • Add the panko bread crumbs, and cook, stirring frequently, until golden brown. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese.
    8 Ounces Cream Cheese
  • Add the sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, pickle juice, and pickles, and mix well to combine.
    1 Cup Sour Cream, ½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder, ¼ Teaspoon Onion Powder, 1 tbsp. dill pickle juice, 1 Cup kosher dill pickles
  • Taste the dip, and add salt and pepper, as needed.
    Salt and pepper
  • Add to your serving bowl, and top with the toasted panko.
  • Serve with chips or pretzels.Dill Pickles
