Fresh Strawberry Tea
Sweet iced tea gets a fresh new twist in this strawberry sweet tea recipe bursting with juicy berry flavor. This sweet sipper is just what you need to keep cool on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups (709 ¾ ml) Water Cold
  • 2 Cups (473 ⅙ ml) Water Boiling
  • 1 ½ Cup (354 ⅞ ml) Strawberry Simple Syrup
  • ½ Cup (100 g) Sugar
  • 5 (5) Black Tea Bags
  • Strawberries sliced, optional garnish
  • Ice optional

Instructions

  1. Place the 2 Cups (473 ⅙ ml) Water and ½ Cup (100 g) Sugar in a medium mixing bowl.

  2. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove the 5 Black Tea Bags from their wrappers and remove the string, gently.

  4. Place all 5 tea bags in the boiling water. Allow to steep for 5 minutes.
  5. Carefully, squeeze the water out of the tea bags and discard them.
  6. Add the 1 ½ Cup (354 ⅞ ml) Strawberry Simple Syrup to the bowl and stir well.

  7. Add the 3 Cups (709 ¾ ml) Water to a pitcher and follow it with the bowl of tea mixture. Stir well.

  8. Add Ice to both the pitcher and your glasses, if desired, and pour the tea into the glasses.

  9. Garnish each glass with a Strawberries, if you like, and enjoy!
