Fresh Strawberry Tea

Two glasses of homemade strawberry tea with straws and fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups (709 ¾ ml) Water (Cold)
  • 2 Cups (473 ⅙ ml) Water (Boiling)
  • 1 ½ Cup (354 ⅞ ml) Strawberry Simple Syrup
  • ½ Cup (100 g) Sugar
  • 5 (5) Black Tea Bags
  • Strawberries (sliced, optional garnish)
  • Ice (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Place the 2 Cups Water and ½ Cup Sugar in a medium mixing bowl.

  • Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Remove the 5 Black Tea Bags from their wrappers and remove the string, gently.

  • Place all 5 tea bags in the boiling water. Allow to steep for 5 minutes.
  • Carefully, squeeze the water out of the tea bags and discard them.
  • Add the 1 ½ Cup Strawberry Simple Syrup to the bowl and stir well.

  • Add the 3 Cups Water to a pitcher and follow it with the bowl of tea mixture. Stir well.

  • Add Ice to both the pitcher and your glasses, if desired, and pour the tea into the glasses.

  • Garnish each glass with a Strawberries, if you like, and enjoy!
