Instructions
Build the Base
Add the fruit punch or juice to a large container or drink dispenser. This creates the foundation of the drink and controls the overall sweetness.
4 Cups Fruit punch or mixed fruit juice
Add the Core Alcohol
Pour in the vodka and triple sec, then stir well to combine. Mixing these first helps evenly distribute the stronger alcohol so the flavor stays balanced.
2 Cups Plain vodka (80 proof), 1 ½ Cup Triple sec (orange liqueur)
Add the Rum
Add the rum and stir again. At this point, taste the mixture—this is your chance to adjust before adding fruit or ice.
2 Cups Light rum (or white rum)
Adjust and Balance
If the mixture tastes too strong, add a bit more juice. If it’s too sweet, add a splash of citrus juice or a lighter mixer to balance it out.
Add Fruit
Stir in chopped fruit. The fruit will begin to infuse the drink as it sits, adding more flavor over time.
2 Cups Fresh fruit (oranges, berries, etc.)
Chill Before Serving
The flavor actually improves as it sits for 30–60 minutes, but after a few hours the fruit can start to soften and break down.Add the hard seltzer just before serving to keep the carbonation from going flat.
1 Hard seltzer (like White Claw, optional)
Serve Over Ice
Serve over ice and stir occasionally to keep everything evenly mixed.
2 Cups Ice
Notes
The finished jungle juice should taste fruity and smooth, not overly strong. If it tastes harsh, add a bit more juice to balance it out. This easy jungle juice recipe is perfect for parties, large gatherings, and making ahead.Avoid adding ice directly to the full batch too early—it will dilute the drink as it sits. Add ice per serving instead. This recipe scales easily—just keep the same ratio of alcohol to juice as you increase the batch size.If the drink tastes too strong after chilling, don’t add more alcohol—add more juice to bring it back into balance.
