Indoor S’mores Recipe
Here is an Indoor S’mores Recipe that is ready in less than ten minutes. You will be wanting to make this Indoor S’mores Recipe any day of the week, all year long!
I know this has happened to you.
You have been waiting all week for the weekend. You promised the kids that you would have a S’mores Party outside after dinner. Everyone is excited! There is discussion about who can roast the PERFECT marshmallow or who has the most accurate S’more stacking technique, chocolate on top of the marshmallow or chocolate under the marshmallow.
But then this happens.
Nothing will ruin a good summer S’mores party faster than rain! It is disappointing but that does not mean you can’t have your S’mores treat! Here is how you are able to make S’mores in less than ten minutes, INSIDE! You will be wanting to make these rainy day S’mores any day of the week, all year long!
Start with the Indoor S’mores Recipe Ingredients:
- Hershey’s Milk Chocolate bars (sold in 6pk at Walmart)
- Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares (exclusively at Walmart)
- Kraft Jet Puffed Marshmallows
Let’s get started.
Line a sheet pan with foil.
I am normally a silicone mat type of girl but we are going to be using the broiler in the oven and silicone mats are not broiler safe. Just a word to the wise!
Once you have your pan lined, arrange your Honey Maid graham squares on the sheet pan. These squares are PERFECT for Indoor S’mores Recipe because they are just the right size for your treat.
Arrange a Jet Puffed Marshmallow on each square.
Here is the toasting part.
With your broiler set on low and the oven rack in the highest position, slide the baking sheet into the oven and close the door, leaving it open slightly.
After approximately two minutes the marshmallows are ooey, gooey and toasted on top! DO NOT walk away from the oven. You don’t want your marshmallows to burn. It will happen faster than you think it will!
Next, you are going to add your Hershey’s chocolate squares. I break the bar into strips 3 pips long. Did you know that is what one of the little squares of Hershey’s chocolate is called? A pip.
Gently press the chocolate into the warm marshmallow and allow it to melt slightly.
I could stop right here. Doesn’t this S’more look delicious!?
Nothing says ‘summer’ to me more than a S’more. I have such fond memories of making them around the campfire with my Girl Scout troop. With this recipe we are now making them inside as well as outside!
While the chocolate is still warm, top your S’more with a second Honey Maid Graham Cracker Square.
Gently press down on your completed S’more.
I found all of the ingredients at Walmart in the seasonal section. My store had the products on end-caps but keep your eyes open for other displays. Keep in mind that the Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares are an exclusive to Walmart. You won’t find them anywhere else, I have looked!
