This is the easiest crab corn fritters recipe ever! With the help of a box of jiffy corn muffin mix this delicious corn fritter recipe is ready for summer parties, backyard barbecues or even game day!

If you are having a crab party you will also want to make Maryland Crab soup and if you are having a Baltimore themed crab party you must have a Lemon peppermint stick to share with your guests.
What dips can you serve with the fritters?
I like the fritters fresh out of the fryer with a heavy sprinkling of Old bay but here are some other suggestions.
- Honey
- Sriracha mayonnaise
- Ayoli
- Sour Cream
- Melted butter
- Ketchup - this was my kids suggestion... not mine.
Ingredients to make crab corn fritters:
- cornbread mix (Jiffy used in this recipe)
- flour - app pourpose works for this recipe.
- whole kernel corn, drained
- Old Bay Seasoning
- egg
- tonic water
- Oil for frying
How to make the Fritters
- Preheat 2" of vegetable oil or a deep fryer to 350.
- Blend the corn bread mix, flour, Old Bay seasoning.
- Beat the egg and add it to the dry ingredients.
- Add to the tonic water and fold into the batter
- Gently fold in the crab.
- Using a small cookie scoop, drop the fritters into deep fryer or skillet.
- Cook 1 – 2minutes on both sides.
- Drain on paper towel. Dust with additional old bay seasoning to serve.
