If you love the buffalo chicken flavors as much as I do you are going to want to make buffalo chicken dip egg rolls, buffalo chicken ranch pizza and buffalo chex mix. Hidden Valley Ranch lovers are going to want to add my seasoned Ranch Cheez-its and my recipe for Mississippi pot roast in the crock pot!

    🍗 Hasselback Chicken Ingredients needed:

Hasselback Chicken Recipe(Buffalo Stuffed Chicken) ingredients.

Here is a visual overview of the ingredients in the recipe. Scroll down to the recipe at the bottom for quantities.

    • 4 Chicken Breasts, approximately 3-4oz each
    • 4 oz Cream Cheese
    • Salt and Pepper, to taste
    • 2 teaspoons Ranch Seasoning
    • ½ cup Buffalo-style Hot Sauce
    • ½ cup Shredded Cheese
    • 4 Tablespoons Crumbled Bacon

    📝 Ingredient notes:

    • Chicken breasts - boneless skinless is what I use here. By having the ribs removed from the chicken you are better able to slice through the chicken for stuffing.
    • Cream cheese - I am using full-fat cream cheese but a low fat cream cheese will work as well.
    • Ranch Seasoning - I use Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning, like the kind you use to make the dressing or dip, but if you have a favorite brand go ahead and use that one.

    🔄 Substitutions

If you are out of cream cheese soft goat cheese would be delicious!

    8. Serve with your favorite side dish. I would suggest oven-roasted asparagus, crispy, smashed brussels sprouts or twice baked potato casserole.

    👩‍🍳 Chef Tip

When slicing the chicken breasts in the Hasselback style, be sure to not slice all the way through. To help prevent the knife from going all the way through, place a bamboo chopstick on either side of the raw chicken breast and slice until the knife hits the chopsticks.
