Easter brunch just got a lot more fun! This Easter cocktail is made with chocolate vodka, creme de cacao, caramel drizzle, and heavy cream, shaken together in under 4 minutes and garnished with a Peeps marshmallow perched right on the rim. The sprinkle-rimmed glass makes it the most festive drink on the table and the mocktail version means the kids get their own fancy glass too.

Pass a tray of these fuzzy easter bunny cocktails at Easter brunch to bring a bit of sweet whimsey to your Easter celebration. I have a non-alcoholic, kiddie cocktail option in the instructions below.

Substitutions
- Creme de Coco: substitute in Mozart Chocolate Spirit, or Kahlua but know that these substitutions will give your drink more of a chocolate color instead of the white version pictured here.
- Caramel vodka - Kissed caramel vodka by Smirnoff is what I used in this recipe but it can be left out, adding more caramel drizzle to the glass as a substitute.

Mocktail Version
I have nieces and nephews as well as my own kids who loves fun and festive mocktails. There is something about a candy rimmed glass that makes kids want to have a fancy drink too. Here is the alcohol-free version of the perfect easter cocktail.
- Prepare your glass as described above. Be sure to use extra caramel into the bottom of the glass.
- Pour milk into the prepared glass and add extra sprinkles to the top of the drink.
Can I make this Easter cocktail ahead of time for a crowd?
Yes, with one adjustment. Mix the chocolate vodka, caramel vodka, creme de cacao, and heavy cream together in a pitcher and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Do not add ice until you are ready to serve - shaking individual portions over fresh ice just before pouring keeps the cream from separating and ensures the cocktail is properly chilled and frothy. Prepare and garnish the glasses when guests arrive.
Frequently asked questions, answers and tips:
If you have marshmallow vodka or whipped cream vodka you can substitute them or add them to this cocktail to your personal preference.
Use a clean pair of kitchen scissors to snip a small slice into the bottom of the Peep. This creates an opening that fits over the rim of the martini glass. Give the Peep a gentle squeeze as you press it onto the glass - the sticky marshmallow interior grips the rim and holds it in place.
A standard martini glass works best - the wide, shallow bowl shows off the sprinkle rim and caramel drizzle and gives the Peeps garnish a stable perch. A coupe glass is a close second and has a slightly more elegant look if you are serving at a formal brunch. A stemless wine glass works in a pinch but the effect is not quite the same.
Absolutely - and it is one of the best parts of this recipe. Prepare the sprinkle-rimmed glass exactly as described, add extra caramel drizzle to the inside of the glass, then pour in cold milk and finish with extra sprinkles on top. The garnished glass makes it feel just as festive as the adult version, which means kids at Easter brunch get their own special drink moment too. Might I suggest using a different colored peeps for the non-alcoholic version? It will be easier for everyone to know what is in the glass.
