Yes, you can use Frosted Flakes instead of plain cornflakes. Frosted Flakes are sweeter, so reduce the sugar by 2-3 tablespoons when using Frosted Flakes. The flavor will be sweeter with a more pronounced sugary taste.
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or waxed paper.
Put cornflakes in a large mixing bowl.
In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, peanut butter, and vanilla.
Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until the mixture bubbles and becomes smooth (about 3-5 minutes).

Pour the hot mixture over the cornflakes.

Gently fold until all flakes are coated.

- Let sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes

What temperature should the sugar syrup be cooked to?
