Corn and black bean salsa recipe in a bowl.

This black bean salsa is easy to make and full of delicious flavors of black beans, corn, tomato, red onion, lime juice and some jalapeno for a nice heat! I added chopped avocado and diced mango for a bit of tropical sweetness, but leave it out if you like.

Do I need to eat this black bean salsa with chips?

While tortilla chips are a common and popular choice for dipping salsa, there are many other ways you can enjoy black bean salsa. How you enjoy your black bean salsa is up to you and your preferences. It's a versatile condiment that can add flavor and nutritional value to a variety of dishes.

  • As a Salad Topper: Use this easy recipe as a topping for salads to add flavor, texture, and a protein boost.
  • Topping for Grilled Meat or Fish: Serve the salsa on top of grilled chicken, steak, or fish to add a fresh and zesty element to your meal.
  • Wrap or Burrito Filling: Incorporate the black bean salsa into wraps, burritos, or tacos for added flavor and nutrition.

Corn and Black Bean Salsa tips:

  • I like to zest the lime in addition to juicing it. It adds just a bit more pop of flavor.
  • Another tasty addition is a diced avocado. YUMMY!
