Rhubarb Basil Smash with large basil leaf

Start with my rhubarb syrup to make this recipe. Once you have a batch of syrup made you are going to want to also make a strawberry rhubarb margarita and a rhubarb sour cocktail. If you can’t get enough rhubarb, be sure to make rhubarb cake, rhubarb curd and don’t forget I can show you how to plant rhubarb in your garden.

What is a smash cocktail?

A smash cocktail will also have a sweetener such as honey, sugar, simple syrup or a flavored syrup. Also there is a herb and fresh fruit that is muddled.
