    keto taco seasoning

When I am working on eating low carb I am constantly reading labels to see what is in the product. By keeping this keto taco seasoning in my cabinet it makes it easier to just grab it when I am making boat dip for snacking or make taco stuffed shells for my kids.

🌟 Here is why this recipe is amazing:

    • This recipe will make enough to season a month's worth of taco Tuesdays.
    • Adjust the heat by adding in more spices or take out the red pepper flakes to make it a more mild taco seasoning.
    • No cornstarch or other additional thickeners are added.

    🥫 Ingredients needed:

Here is a visual overview of the ingredients in the recipe. Scroll down to the recipe at the bottom for quantities.

    📝 Notes on the ingredients

    • Paprika - sweet or smoked. The choice is up to you.
    • Salt - kosher or other large flake
    • Black Pepper - ground
taco seasoning being funneled into a glass jar.

🌮 How to make Low Carb Taco Seasoning:

    1. Measure out the spices.
    2. Combine the spices in an air-tight container.

    🏺 Storage

I store this keto taco seasoning in an air-tight container. A glass Ball canning jar with a lid and ring works well for me. But a plastic zip-top bag or a closed plastic container is another option.

📝 Frequently asked questions, answers and tips:

Can this be doubled or tripled?

Yes! Go ahead and click the multiplier on the recipe card and it will update the measurements to double or triple this recipe.

How much mix is the equivalent of a packet of store-bought taco seasoning?

When seasoning a pound of meat, I use 2 tablespoons of this seasoning. But like my grandma said, be sure to season with your heart. That means, it is up to you how much seasoning to use.
